Over 10 years ago, I began my journey into private practice. First thing to do was to get credentialed. I paid two separate companies to do my credentialing only to be left with no communication from the company, no completion of the credentialing process, being out a lot of money, and ultimately having to finish the entire process myself. Needless to say, it was a nightmare.
After that, I went on to learned how to credential other mental health providers (LPCCs, LCSWs, and Psychologists) as well as how to navigate the landscape of billing insurance companies since then and have been offering a better options to clinicians.
